I started work in HR administration in 1999 and moved into learning and development in 2004. Along the way I've been a regional trainer teaching 3D laser scanning to distributors, forensic and law-enforcement teams across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and held training, learning-design and quality roles at AIG, Temasek Polytechnic, Kaplan and the Singapore Institute of Technology.
Today I'm a Workplace Learning Manager at Republic Polytechnic, working on workplace learning with Singapore companies. In 2025 I took a year out to retrain in AI automation, and in photography and video with AI.
I don't write code, but I build with AI: a personal knowledge vault, scheduled automations and short motion-graphic explainers like the one below. What I care about is the question I asked as a trainer: can the person in front of me use this tomorrow?
